I have a 94 mazda miata.i rebuilt it and the car doesn't want to start. Im getting spark and fuel to the engine and you can hear everything moving in the engine but it won't turn over. Qhwn it does start I jumps to 2000 rims and goes down and dies, rinse and repeat. I dont know what to do anymore. Already changed fuel pump and relay along with coils and plugs
I have the engine and ignition perfectly timed, the only thing that I could think would be out of whack would be the throttle position sensor if that could cause it

Make sure your Airflow meter/ Mass Air Flow sensor isn't busted. A friend of mine took it off wrong and broke some connections inside of the sensor . It wouldn't start even with spark and fuel.
Sounds like the timing is off..check that...
