Scotty,
I do a little woodworking as a hobby, and really want a truck. I have a 10 year old grandson and sometimes groceries to hauls minivan maybe a better buy. Is there a good used minivan to buy? And is CarMax a good place to buy from?

CarMax can be okay but you have to do your research and make sure you don't overpay and get a good vehicle.
A truck would be a good choice IMO but if looking for a minivan, nothing wrong with a good used Toyota Sienna.

Siennas are actually pretty versatile. I'm pretty sure they have 4ft between the wheel housings.
