- My 2016 Toyota Tundra has been making a wooing/growling noise ever since I first got it. Sounds like a bearing to me. The noise is faster and louder at higher speeds and especially is the loudest when I’m turning slightly right at 70-80 mph. I changed the front left wheel bearing and that didn’t fix the noise. Then I changed the bearing that connects the CV to the front diff and that seemed to fix the noise for a day or 2. Also I think it’s important to note that when I installed a level kit (2 inch front lift) the noise instantly became louder and more noticeable. I’m afraid that my front diff is toast, what are your thoughts? Also I tried putting on a new set of wheels in case if it was my tires making the noise and that didn’t change the noise at all. I also drained the fluid and saw that it was a bit shiny and metallic but nothing too crazy.
Can you make a YouTube video of the noise & post the link here?
