My mum wants to buy a car, a used Hyundai i30 or Mazda 3, automatic, just for daily driver to work etc. I havent seen much videos about Hyundai from Scotty and am wondering what you think about Hundai i30s. They are pretty popular here in Australia. I heard you say you have to change the oil a lot on Mazda... We are looking at the 2017, 18 or 19 models as they are more in our price range, and not the top of the line N line hyundais. Cheers, -Ron

If you want to choose between those, I would choose Mazda 3. It is a good reliable car.

Is there any chance that your mom changes her mind towards Toyota corolla or Honda civic? They are better built cars in my opinions.

@yaser
Thanks for that! My mum had a corolla for 15yrs, is still works but getting worn out and the new Corollas arent very exciting inside. I think my mum wont like the shape of the Honda too, im sure theyre amazing cars. What do you mean better built? like the engines lasting over time? We are leaning toward Mazda 3 2017, 2018 or Hyundai i30 2018 - The hyundais offer more boot space and back seat and are quite nice inside, you think these arent as good build? Will they last a while? Cheers

They may last if you baby them but not as even close to Toyota's or Honda’s. Between Hyundai and Mazda, pick Mazda.
Also you may consider Toyota Camry or Avalon.
