Hard clunk when turning in 4x4

Hello,

     07 Chevy suburban w/ 160k miles. When in 4 wheel drive it makes a clunk when in a hard turn. Is that normal?

Not normal.

Check the suspension joints and tie rods.

Wheel hop is normal. Clunking is not. Time for a new CV axle.
