Is a k1500 manual transmission with 180000 mile a good truck to by for 2500?

It can be a great truck. Have a mechanic check it out especially the AT.

You didn't say anything about condition, but that seems like far too much money.
It’s a good condition for the year it has a little rust by the door panel, but I have an 1988 c1500 with the same problem that I took care of. But my biggest concern is that I haven’t heard much of the nv3500 so if you have any information about that type of transmission it would be help full.
