Can I change username after i created it?
You're absolutely fine. Your display name shows "Doug Adams". Your email address doesn't show anywhere.
This guy, for example, did it wrong.

You can change your display name but not your username.

I looked on your profile and I can't even find your username, and neither can you find mine. Your display name is what people see.
Your username is used so you can log onto the site (Username and Password needed)
mountainmanjoe has a post that says "read first" and it says not to use email address as a username
so I am worried that I messed up.
Yeah I know but this site's software isn't great in the first place we are just as likely to get our accounts messed up as you are its the internet... I doubt anything will happen but you never know...
If you want you could always use another account, or just stick to this one.
@mountainmanjoe probably knows better about this stuff.

Yeah just click "My Profile" in the menu, and then "Account"
Thats the one thing it won't let me change.
It's in bold font and unchangeable.
