I’ve been noticing lately that Every time I turn on the ac on recirculate mode, there is a smell like a vanilla bean. Does anyone know what it could be? The vehicle is a 2009 Lexus ES350
Does your coolant smell like vanilla too?
I'm not sure, there was fresh coolant put in the car last year

Check and see if you have any leaks.
I did check for leak and I couldn’t detect anything of any sort
Whenever your vehicle starts to smell sweet like that, there is coolant leaking somewhere. Look again for leaks and if you can't find any type of leak, send that to a mechanic because you could be inhaling toxic fumes which could hurt you.
