What are your thoughts/any information you have on the Volkswagen Atlas? Looking to purchase from a dealership.
As I'm familiar, they are very unreliable.
Similar to all VW cars, they are fun cars when new and as they age, they become rolling pile of junk.

As the owner of a 2016 Passat with 96,000 miles on it, I completely agree with this statement 100%! For the last 10-15,000 miles, it's been one thing after another. Oh, and I have to dump about 1 quart of oil in it every 1,000 miles.
As it happens, my across the street neighbour has one, … er, had one: V6 model. It’s an only car I have ever seen towed away from my street in last 30-some years. This car got towed multiple times by the selling dealer.
Anyway, … about 2 months ago, … my neighbour commissioned some contractor to do some indoor renovations for him, but kept the habit of hanging his fob on the hook in the door way. One of the contractor’s employee help himself to the fob, as a result, … drove with that Atlas into a sunset, … and car was found six days later, … crushed!
My neighbour is a happy guy now!
He had one of those riders on his insurance, … called shock absorber, option that pays a full purchase price for the first two years of ownership if a car ends up a total loss for some reason.
My neighbour now owns a new Porsche, … and I’m on a lookout for a flat bed tow truck to pick up that new Porsche any time soon.
True story, (… with a silent message!)
