Hi Scotty, every time after a steady rain, my wife’s 2016 Ford Escape SE 2.5 w/ 92k miles, it gets wet in the rear cargo area and streaks of water runs down the rear window. Any idea what is causing this? Thank.

Obviously you have a leak. Probably around the rear hatch. You need to find the spot it's leaking from.

Use a hose with a spray nozzle to try locating the leak point. If you don't have a garden hose where you live the spray wand at a self-service car wash should do the trick.
