What does the water do if it penetrated the combustion chamber? Will it harm the car or just popping a white smoke?
How much of water? A drop probably won’t have any effect, but like a lot of water will potentially ruin the engine because water isn’t compressible.
@inthrustwetrust
Thanks for the answer, I was just worried since the car got flooded out.
@inthrustwetrust
Yikes - flooded out, as in water came up over engine parts? Then you need to do quite a few things - engine oil, electronics, etc.
@inthrustwetrust
Thanks, it could help 👍
The flooded car is basically worth nothing and does not worth fixing. Since the water entered transmission and engine besides that, all the electronics are ruined.
Virtually every insurance company now knows a flooded engine/transmission is a total loss. Your insurance company should have immediately taken the vehicle away as a total loss. Subsequently the insurance company may elect to salvage non-affected components, such as body parts, auction the vehicle, or simple scrap.
