Hi Scotty: I got a 2006 z71 1500 Chevy Suburban. The power locks keep acting weird causing my keyless remote batteries to die and when I'm nowhere near my Suburban on occasion I can hear the locks cycling on and off and that causes the headlights to activate. Is it the computer? What should I do? Thanks so much!
The car is cursed, clearly.
Does this happen when the key fob is within range of the car? Also what do you mean its causing the remote batteries to die. If the key fob is breaking down it could be excessively sending signals, thus cycling the locks & draining the little battery inside. Once the key fob is dead does the issue persist?
Yes the issue persists. The fob key is nowhere near the vehicle when my Suburban locks start locking and unlocking all on their own. Then when I go to use the fob/ remote the batteries are dead again and again.
