What brakes should I use for 2012 honda civic exl?

I noticed a grinding sound from the rear of the car each time when I would come to a stop. When I inspected that area, I noticed one brake pad was completely worn out and the other one was unevenly wearing out. When I checked the Scotty Kilmer Amazon list for the Akembo brake pads. It notified me that they would not fit. So what brake pads should I purchase for my vehicle? {black}:bruise: {black}:shutmouth:

Get the OEM ones.

Thank you🙏🏼

You're welcome. The difference in price with aftermarket is not that much and you get a longer quality life out of the OEM.

I think you meant Akebono brake pads, they are a great choice if you can get them. I would check the calipers and rotors as well, if you have something going on with them, it could cause your next pads to get eaten up too. I have had calipers stick, causing them to wear a single pad out really fast.
