I have a 2021 Kia Forte and i had recently hit a curb and my passenger side dog leg its smashed and gouged a little bit right before the rear tire. I was estimated $920 to fix it, something i do not have at the time. I have been spraying WD-40 on it to protect it, since the road guard is gone. Are there any other products i can use? I feel like there has to be something better than WD-40. Thank you!!

Wash off the WD40 with lacquer thinner and spray the area with a can of primer surfacer to keep it from rusting.
Thank you! Is the WD-40 harmful to my car?
Just don't spray it on brakes.
