Scotty, I'm 16 and for my first car I daily drive a 1978 f-150 supercab lariat, 351m, c6 auto, 2wd with 49,000 original miles in Michigan that was parked since 1984 with one owner what do you think? I replaced all the break parts and lines and changed the fluids it also doesn't leak anything or burn oil. I also adjusted the timing and carb and it runs and drives perfect, the rides better than most new cars. I bought it from the original owners widow. He had 30 mint Lincolns and Mercurys and she was letting them go for $3,000. "I confirmed the miles from the tire date 82 and the JCPenney service record
"
well it's a rare piece. Might even be worth some money.
But it's going to be a high maintenance ride as a daily, both in fuel consumption and service required. I think I'd save it as a weekend toy.
