Cars in my price range are few and far between in my area, but I just found a 2001 Mustang convertible with the v6 engine, manual transmission, and ~90k miles. Good car or stay away?
EDIT: it's being sold by a dealership

well they can be good cars because generally the owners don't beat them up like the V8 engines but being at a dealership they probably asking way too much money. First have a mechanic check it out of course never buy a car without a mechanic checking it out used

I got one in 2011 with 140k and put another 100k miles on it, never gave me any issues other than typical maintenance (water pump, thermostat, etc). It was my first and only car until a lady pulled in front of me and totaled it couple weeks ago right before Christmas. RIP my baby 😭

Great cars. Just keep an eye on the head gaskets as they like to go out around 150k.
Other than that they can go a LONG time.
