My car is a 2015 BMW 320i. The engine is corrupt. Sometimes, the car stops in the middle of the road, and the engine makes really weird noises constantly. I want to replace the engine independently but don't know which engine would be best for my car.

How do you know the noise is coming from the engine, or that it is bad enough that the engine needs to be replaced? Many things other than internal engine failure can cause it to stop running.
@chucktobias I am sure that the only problem is the engine. I got it checked multiple times.

A replacement engine is thousands. Spend a few hundred bucks to make sure your engine is bad before you replace it.
how do you afford an engine and not a mechanic? Very curious.
