I'm looking to buy a full size pickup, and i have found what look like a couple of good options. a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 with 133000 miles and a 1999 gmc sierra with 180000 miles. they are both automatics, but the chevy is a v6 and the gmc is a v8. which one of these is the better option, and are there any other options i should keep an eye out for?
Clarification: How many years and miles do you need it to last you?
im looking for something to be a daily for at least a few years, but i will probably drive whatever i end up getting until it breaks down

If both vehicles are in the same shape, definitely the Gmc. The v8 is much better suited for the truck.
