I've recently been looking for my first truck. I've test drove both the 2020 Tundra and Ford F150. I love the feel of both. I was wondering which truck will last me the longest with little maintenance.
Any of the three Tundra models and years.
I have heard a lot of great things about the Ford 4.6L V8 2- valve engine. In comparison is it equally relatable or better than a Toyota Tundra of the same generation?
I personally have a 07 F150 with the 4.6L V8 but have heard conflicting opinions on whether it is a 2valve or a 3 valve motor. My truck just hit the 95k miles mark, any particular maintainance that you recommend?
Thank you
Hey Scotty, what would be a great used pickup truck to buy that has comfortable seats for my elderly grandmother to sit in. I normally drive around my area conservatively, and use a 2007 Nissan Sentra for far distance needs. I wanted the pickup truck because it is very convenient to put lumber, a snowblower, tractor trailer, pretty much anything in the truck bed (if it’s long bed of course). I was looking at the Toyota Tundra and the Ford F-150, however I really wanted the tundra for its reliability and I don’t mind spending more at the pump with the 5.7L V8 engine.

I want a new truck, I'm debating between the new tundra with the twin-turbo v6 or the F150 with the V8, When I do the build and price, they both add up to relatively the same price for the features I need. I'm hoping for the least cost of ownership over 15-20 years. Most of the driving will be city miles, what do you think will be the best option for me? or would it be another third option I didn't look at?
