What should/shouldn't I replace on my 2002 Honda CRV?

I got a 2002 Honda CRV (224,000 miles) gifted to me last year because my Ford E350 crapped out and started making a crunching grinding sound creating smoke underneath from the back, the rear differential and rear axle were both shot and I had to salvage it. I want to go to school to become a certified mobile mechanic and seeing your videos praising the longevity of the 2.4L VTEC engines it makes me hopeful and optimistic having this car lasting for a while and treating it right. I had the code P1257 come on last week, car went into limp mode not wanting to exceed 3000 RPM. I got the new VTEC solenoid for $40, replaced it in a matter of minutes, did an oil change and replaced the oil filter. Next, i want to replace the spark plugs and air filter. Ocasionally P0420 comes on and I'm not sure whether it's the catalytic converter or a bad oxygen sensor, and the code disappears on its own usually within an hour or so. What would you say are the first things/most important things to check and replace first? The only thing that seems to be an issue is when I go over 70 the wheel gets shakey and everywhere I've looked it says tires need to be rotated and aligned, no big deal. I figured who better to ask about cars than the Car Savior himself?! Have a great day Scotty and thank you for dedicating so much time each day educating us and making sure we don't have sleezy mechanics take advantage of us, you are truly a 1 of a kind life saver!

Well yeah if you're worried about the tires, put the back tires in front in the front and the back of the shaking goes away. You could even live with that. Now a lot of times it trips the inefficient catalytic converter code because it's just slightly worn. Most people don't even care about that. But you get a good some good catalytic converter cleaner. Put it in the tank a lot of times. It'll clean out a converter and the cold won't come on anymore.
