Which 3 row SUV to buy?

I am in the market for a 3 row suv. The new Lincoln aviator hybrid seems to be a pretty compelling buy, but now the durango hellcat came out. Which of the two would you recommend? Or do you recommend something completely different?

@andrewparker
Check-out the Hellcat if buy into the hemi and power advertising. Looks fun, not a 3-seater, not really a family vehicle, not designed to be luxury or high tech. The Aviator is something else entirely. Designed as a 3-seater, luxury, powerful but great handling SUV with tech through the roof. Big ticket for either one, my choice would be the Lincoln Aviator, hands down. Getting used to the button shifter take a few drives, everything else is big, spacious, comfortable, quiet, powerful, (how many adjectives do you want ??) That big display literally commands the dash, the Heads-Up display, well, I think it's such a great driving and safety feature that it should be mandated for every car sold, regardless of make or model. I might be sorry with the Dodge, I'd never be sorry with the Lincoln. But of course it's your choice. P.S.: Try to rent each one for a few days, get real-world usage from each one. It should make the decision easier ???

Hey Scotty my moms wants to.buy my dad a 2017 mid size truck that is reliable.What do you recommend.

@jaredcortes
I’d recommend a Toyota Tacoma.

In future, it may be a good idea to ask your own question using this link - https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/

Your choices are: Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon, Nissan Frontier, Toyota Tacoma, Honda Ridgeline. Colorado/Canyon transmission issues with 8-speed but otherwise very comfortable and quiet, good mileage with a great V6 engine, Great room with Crew Cab and folding seats. But front buckets are very narrow, not for large behind. Nissan Frontier is cheapest in many ways, good I4 and V6 engines, OK transmissions, comfort and handling not great, log-term reliability is so-so. Tacoma is good, good I4 and V6 engines, 6-speed transmissions OK, comfort not great, handling harsh, body lean, and not for fast trips on curvy roads. One-size-fits-all front seat, no power adjustment, no up/down, only forward/back. Very limited headroom, not for over 5'10" tall, narrow front bucket (get bench seat), still has antique drum brakes in rear ! Honda Ridgeline is a FWD Pilot with the worst P/U bed I've ever seen, comes with V6 but has very limited towing for AWD Only ! Back seat a joke. Comments may seem slightly harsh, but I deal with them all and I know what they offer. My recommendation (believe it or not): Tacoma V6, but not a 2017, get a 2020 or 2021 SR5 V6 Crew Cab, MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS like power seats, headroom comfort, handling, safety, and more at just a little more cost than used 2017 ! Good luck, hope this helps ...

I’d rather get a Toyota Highlander. They are extremely reliable & spacious.

Get a Toyota Sequoia if you want a reliable spacious one.

If you don't keep your cars longer than 3 years, lease what you love! Then it should stay under warranty until the lease runs out
