What to do with closed auto part store inventory

I know the owner of a closed (for 5+ years) auto parts store in Deep East Texas 2.5 hours north of Houston. I offered to help him sell the parts but am finding that difficult bc the brand CarVantage (I think that's what most of the parts are) part numbers are obsolete and so I can't tell which cars they fit. Anyway, he just wants to get something for them and get it dealt with. I have not had any success selling them on eBay or Facebook (tried both already) without the critical info as to compatability. Also some Napa and other brands...Everything from gaskets to brakes, filters, axles... Shelf after shelf of dusty boxes. Any ideas?

Hire a firm that specializes in liquidations.

If you search the part numbers does anything come up? Some aftermarket makers pattern their part numbers after OEM.

Nice bio. 😉

The owner didn't leave you any cross-reference books? That was lousy of him. Is the manufacturer still around?

I can't find any information whatsoever about "Carvantage" auto parts. Only a car dealer in Winchester. Are you sure that brand name is right?

Thank you! Well, it might be something slightly different...it's been a while since I tried listing the parts. Apparently it isn't really (although they said it was) a priority for them to clear out their inventory since they have other streams of income, but I wanted to make some money which I why I offered to give it a try. I called the company that bought them out and they, too, claimed they didn't have any way to cross-reference the parts. Anyway, thank you for your input. Have a great year!
