I have a 2006 Volkswagen bug around. I got it running to move it recently and thought about whether it is a good or bad idea to tear it apart and turn it into something like an offroad toy people use to do with the old ones. Would a newer one of that age be worth it to do something like that with or not? It is mostly cheeply made plastic so it seems easy enough to pull apart.

You could but they're not like the old bugs or parts are cheap parts are still expensive on the new ones and they are cheap crap especially the transmission
