Scotty, My dad's old z28 before it got wrecked, was 23 years old you know 1995 z28. The car got long in the tooth so the ac started to break, he got it fixed multiple times and then the guys he took it to just went dull. They lost it. Then the windows wouldn't roll down so, you had to bash the door to make it work. Maybe you know whats going on.

It sounds like you windows could be binding or the you are having electrical issues. The easiest solution would be to lube them up and see if it works. It sounds like the people who were working on the air are clueless. I would find a better specialized shop for an inspection.
