[Solved] What's Making These Noises on 2014 Toyota Yaris?

My 2014 Toyota Yaris makes two unusual noises:

1) When I go over a bump or any kind of dip, I hear a creaking sound from the front end.  I know Scotty says it's probably the bushings, but the mechanic I took it to about the noise made no mention of it, even after I said I was told it's probably the bushings.  The only other thing I could think of, are the crappy clips that hold the plastic body molding to the bumper and wheel wells, and I think some of them have either come off, or else aren't holding very tightly.

2) When I accelerate from a stop, I oftentimes hear this soft sputtering and gurgling sound coming from the engine until I get it up to speed.  Is this a valve or injector thing?

Thanks in advance for your help.

so what did he do? Give up? Did he hear the noise?

No, injectors don't gurgle or sputter. I would need to hear it in a video.

I didn't ask if he heard it, but he said he noticed no problems except for a bent strut, of course. And when that was replaced I'm still hearing the creaking -- also of course

I would have test driven the car with the "mechanic" sitting in it with me, to make sure he could the noise. That way, he should know if he fixed it or not. Right?
Did he test drive the car after to actually make sure he fixed it? So far it sounds like you need an actual mechanic and not this guy pretending to be one.
And you need to include details like that the strut was replaced in your question. Pretty relevant wouldn't you say? Is there anything else you left out?

I guess I just assume too much with these people and give them too much credit for being Scotty-tier.

Life is exhausting. Life with cars and mechanics, at least doubly so

Nobody said it would be easy. If you can, record the sounds and post them for us, and maybe we can help you identify them.
