- Hello! I currently drive a 1999 gmc seirra 1500 SLE with an extended bed with 180k on the odometer. So a little while ago the mounts for my passenger tail light broke and fell out, ripping out the brake/running light with it on the interstate (non recoverable). I'm guessing the wires touched or something because after that happend my drivers breaklight no longer works (when break is pushed) my cargo lamp unit no longer works, and my interior lights (dome/feet light) doesn't either and on my message center it always says cargo lamp is on now. After I replaced it, the running light doesnt work on the passenger side, but the break light does. Dash lights all work fine and so do their dials. The fuses look fine and it doesn't throw a code, so what is wrong with it? And what can I do about it?

There seems to be power to all sockets
if there's power but they don't light up, then it's probably bad grounds.

so as of right now, which lights do not work?
Using a multimeter, is there power to the bulb socket?
You'll want to grab a schematic from gmupfitter.com or charm.li and use it find the fault.
The ones that don't work are passenger running light, passenger reverse light, driver brake light, entire cargo lamp, the cab dome light, and the feet lights. There seems to be power to all sockets except the inside lights, and the passenger reverse light
