What's your thoughts on Honda's new e-scooter the Honda Motocompacto? It's based off of Honda's old gas powered motorcycle the Honda Motocompo.
Just curious if you would consider buying one these new fancy Big Wheels since you already own e-bikes? If it's Honda quality should I consider giving up my bus pass?
Well as you can see it's kind of a crazy Japanese thing. I could see it flying in Japan where people do weird stuff, but that's strange. Looking thing where you going to drive it in America. People on the sidewalk would be peed and people on the street would say that thing's too slow or weird and it wouldn't be legal. Probably for driving on the road because it wouldn't meet USDOT specs probably
My thoughts: the way things are going, soon that's all people will be able to afford....
I live close to DC, where there are a lot of rental e-scooters with similar tiny wheels. I've seen people face-plant when they hit a pothole while on one - it's not pretty. Now, when I was in Japan, I noticed that the roads were very well maintained, so maybe it would work better there.
