Hi Scotty,
Looking to buy a pickup out in the Philippines however, I've narrowed it down to three manufactures but can't decide which one to go for, please help!
Choices are Izuzu D-Max, Toyota Hilux, or the Ford Raptor, all three have positives and negatives but I can't decide. Whichever one I chose it will be 4x4 and the 2021 model.
Cheers
Adrian

What are your pros/cons?
I would lean towards the Hilux.
1. Hilux - it’ll last the longest, no doubt.
2. D-Max - extremely reliable workhorse at a cheaper price.
3 Raptor - Ford may pull out without warning, like it did in other SE Asian markets & then you’ll be running around for parts, in your retirement.
A wildcard entry will be the Mitsubishi Strada pickup. With the Diesel engine, they are extremely reliable & can last.
Good luck!
Hilux > D-Max > Raptor
I would go with the Hilux if you could.
However, it seems that Isuzu has foothold in the Philippines, so it might be a decent choice.
Hilux all the way. That thing is nearly bullet proof.
