The typical maintenance, perhaps at shorter intervals. Oil and filter replaced 5K or 6 months, using an OEM filter and the proper type of oil. Transmission drain and fill @ 50K and thereafter, 40K or 3 years.(No transmission flushes). Coolant drain and fill or flushes (no tap water), 4 years or 40K initially. Use the OEM spec fluid. Afterward, 2 years/20K. Be attentive to the engine and cabin filters.

If there's iridium plugs, inspect them after 80K. Change the PCV at 100K, as well as the gas and radiator caps.

Clean the throttle body and MAF sensor @ 80K, and then every 40K, after that. (Cheap, fast and easy to do).

Good maintenance never hurts, often helps even mediocre vehicles. Even the best vehicles will have shortened and more expensive lives if they are not properly maintained.
