I have a 2012 Dodge Durango with a 3.6 L V6. When starting the car on cold mornings I get a whistle from under the hood that sounds like a child's wooden train whistle! It goes away in less than a minute. What could it possibly be? Thank you.

Check for vacuum leaks. Are you getting any codes on the vehicle?
No codes are registering. Everything seems to be running well.

Possibly a bad fan belt or tensioner pulley bearing.
I guess it's possible but it really does sound like one of those toy train whistles! Only when it's below 30- 35*F. And only in the morning.
