I'm going to school for my ASE cert and was curious as to which manufacturer is better to work for Honda, GM, Tesla, or BMW? Figured you'd have some great insight for me to help make a decision

ASE Certification can get you in the door, but that's about it.
What really matters is education, grades, skills, mechanical and electrical/electronic aptitudes, quality of work, and that irreplaceable factor, experience.
Plus, you need a good sense of humor and work well with others (you have no idea how important this can be in a workplace).
Who to work for ? All you mentioned, and many, many more. And don't lose sight of working for yourself ?
