Hey Scotty, I've been wanting to buy an Acura RDX for a while now. When I look at buying a new one it is around 44k and a used one exactly the same with only between 2 and 10 thousand miles is 10 thousand dollars cheaper. (Acura with Technology Package). What is the reason for this? I would think that since it is an Acura the price wouldn't depreciate so greatly. When I look at Toyota and Lexus they keep their value even with 100s of thousands of miles. Is the Acura brand not as dependable as Honda and Toyota? Is it a vehicle I should avoid? I want to purchase an SUV for road trips so comfort and fuel efficiency is what is most important. Also wind noise. The less the better. The Acura in my opinion looks the best, but I want something that will not leave me stranded. Something that will last a very long time. What would you recommend?
Is this the case for every used RDX you see or just the one you found? I looked up and the depreciation is similar to Lexus.
