On my 06 toyota corolla, with 94,000 miles, I'm about to start replacing the valve cover gasket and the intake manifold gasket (in that order) but I was wanting ask about my beauty cover, the plastic cover that sits on top of my engine...its only held on with one bolt...both plastic clips are also missing...
Does the missing bolt for the beauty cover effect the pressure of the other bolts across the top of the valve cover, or is it just for the silly beauty cover?

You can go to a hardware or auto parts store an buy the metric bolt and the plastic clips if you want to keep it on without rattling. I usually take the beauty cover off and put it in a corner of my garage.
