Hey Scotty, I got a 2000 Lexus es300 with 157,000 miles on it. I check the carfax before I bought it and it shows no accidents. When I’m driving over 50 or more mph, I hear wind noise from the passenger side. It sounds like it’s coming from the dashboard on that side but I can’t find where it’s coming from and it’s driving me nuts. Help me!
Carfax is not an accurate indication of whether the car has been in an accident. Accidents can go unreported and not all repair shops report to Carfax.
Seeing as how the car is 22 years old it may be that door or window seals have deteriorated.
put your blower on full and listen from the outside or spray soapy water
Pull out the rubber beadings around the door & door frame and check for accident repair and/or rubber damage, like Chuck suggested.
