Should I put four winter tires on my Lexus ES350

My wife has 2007 Lexus ES 350 and I'm planning on putting winter tires on it in time for our Alberta winter (50% chance of snow by Halloween). In a recent video that I think concerned a two-wheel drive Lexus, you opined that putting "a couple of snow tires on the front" would make the vehicle as good in the snow as an all-wheel drive. I was thinking of doing this for the ES 350, but having done some research online it seems advisable to put winter tires on all four wheels. Putting them only on the front is good for acceleration, but not for traction when braking or cornering. Perhaps you would like to amend your earlier recommendation.

Yes, putting them on all four corners is best. But it will never be as good as an all-wheel-drive vehicle.

Check out the newer "year round" all season options for winter driving.

Michellin Cross Climate and General Altimax 365 are a couple.

I haven't heard of any personal experiences yet.  But they look like good options.

Nokian make some excellent all year tires that are winter rated, and some great full on winter tires. After all, they are the company that is based in Finland, the farthest north of any tire company that I know of.
