Can someone help me on repairing wire? On a utility trailer a wire got cut and I’m unsure how to fix it. Been looking online on tips and tricks to crimp or join them together. Never done this kind of repair before and my first instinct is to expose it and just wraps the exposed pieces together followed by heat shrinking tube. I want it to be nice and dry that is my biggest concern. I’d try soldering but don’t know how.

These are great. No special tools required. Just a heat gun. I use them for professional commercial installations.
