Hey Scotty,

Some delusional guy on Youtube thinks that Kia and Hyundai, Audi are reliable and calls the Japanese unreliable junk

Some dude I came across via Youtube comments thinks that the Korean car brands and Audi are more reliable than Japanese brands like Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, etc. Why is our world getting sucked into these nonsense facts? The Korean brands make junk and while Audi is better than it used to be, it's still a money pit brand lol.

Keep in mind that some people think the earth is flat too. 😀

You can't regulate opinions. Everyone has their own. Don't agree with them, don't watch/listen to them.

Maybe they had bad experience with them, it's possible they bought junk cars from japanese manufacturers and made a generalization based off their own experience. I know my cousin has a old Kia soul just passing 100k miles and it still runs fine. Now I do think that's luck but hey sometimes people have bad luck. Personally I think the mustangs are some of the most reliable muscle cars on the road.

I listen politely to people who beat me over the head with anecdotal evidence.  But when I ask them for empirical evidence, they get real shy and quiet.  Like the man said "There's an ass for every saddle."

A car dealer will tell you a lot of things, but it's up to you if you decide to believe them, and some people do believe them and tell everybody that what they said is fact. Also keep in mind that a lot of automotive channels have sponsors, and they have to say what's on the advertisement sheet.

Some mechanic channels might tell you to buy certain vehicles so they get more business, and some people still believe that a car that can make it over 100k miles is "reliable".
