| I personally am not against dealerships. You just gotta know your stuff and the trade offs whether you go dealership or private party. Deals can be had. | |||||

| Besure to always check to see if the owners manuals were kept in the vehicle as they are pricy. You can get the same via the Lexus website and download the PDF files. Check thos out as they explain a lot in details especiall the options...Good Luck ! | |||||

| I agree that Lexus is a reliable car without doubt, this is why I’m really interested in this car. Hope I’ll be able to share my experience soon. Thanks. | |||||

| I believe an authorized dealer of Lexus will be able to prove the milage (as I’ve heard nowadays manipulating milage is not easy). And definitely I’m buying to keep it for years (at least 5 years), but I’m not into spending a fortune on repairing a car every now & then, won’t be wise I’m sure. Price difference is approximately 10-15K compared to a new 2021. | |||||

| Is that just 2000 original miles? Is there any way of proving the mileage? If you intend on keeping the vehicle for a long time, realise hybrids are very expensive to repair once they start breaking down. If you’re fine with that, sure it may be worthwhile with just 2000 miles. Whats the price difference between a new vehicle & the one you’re looking at? | |||||

| Hi Scotty, I’ve found a good deal with a low milage RX450HL, do you think it is wise to buy a 2nd hand Lexus which is a Hybrid? Milage is 2000, 2019 model, from a private party. Thanks, Tariq | |||||

| 2003-2007 is my choice as that is more the newer style. Download all the lexus owners manuals on their site for the years interested in as thats why they look the same but the options all differ on what the owner chose when they bought them. Some may be strippos and some may be fully blown all out optioned. I always evaluate what the interior conditions is..was it kept nice orwas it careless...you will get a vibe about them and their previous owner. Most owner take care of them as they spent big bucks on them but then maybe some don't care. You be the detective. I have owned a 2003 Rx330 and also went to a 2011 RX450H - They have proven to me their careful thought to attention and detail. | |||||

| Well your SUV will still contune as is but the Hybrid Battery probably powers the electric Power steering so it may be a concern. I would have the Hybrid battery condition checked by a qualified technician see what the cell values are. You don't want to lose your steering and cause an accident. We own a 2011 Lexus RX450H | |||||
| Answer to: 2013 Lexus RX 350 or 2018 Acura RDX? | 0Relevance | 6 years ago | Dion | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| As a owner of a 2003 RX330 and now a 2011 RX450H I can say that those two SUV's have been totally almost maintenance free. just the normal stuff, wipers, 12v battery and tires. The reason the lexus are more expensive than the same type vehicle in its classification is that they keep their value higher than the average. | |||||
