I just bought a 2010 Lexus RX 450h, 179k, they're replacing my windshield, new tires and two brand new seats for free. Sold it too me for 9k
Its an ok deal I guess I prefer the gasoline ones but hey take care of it it should be a great car. Just realize hybrids usually fall apart (even Toyotas) around 200-250k miles.
Thank you.
I think 9K seems like a fair deal for that 10 year old hybrid.
Thank you for the feedback.
Just set aside a few thousand on repairs for those hybrids as it’s getting up there in mileage. It can get costly pretty quick, which is why a regular gas version would have been better.
Thank you.
How did you find it?
My long time friend new I have been looking for a Lexus (he does work at a dealership) and called me when it became available.
I know dealerships are no nos but I trust my friend (obviously not enough though to ask you all thoughts on maintaining and issues)
I personally am not against dealerships. You just gotta know your stuff and the trade offs whether you go dealership or private party. Deals can be had.
