| "Tesla" Personally, I think the reason people buy them is not just for a status symbol, it's more than that. Some people may know this if they've ever come across a tesla owner, to them it to be a status symbol saying "Look at me, I drive an electric car, I'm saving the planet, I'm such a good person, everyone else that says otherwise is wrong and stupid, And Elon Musk is our lord and savior." | For the same reason you bought your car: you like it. The tesla bashing always amazes me. Let me clarify why that is: 1. "They just buy them as a status symbol" - People buy Ford Raptors, Ferraris, Corvettes, etc. for the same reason yet no outrage about that just because they are ICE engines? {black}:serious: 2. "They worship Elon Musk" - People worship Apple products which are nothing more than overpriced, dumbed-down products designed for any simpleton to use. And they are super overpriced. | IMHO, the electric motor on a tesla is probably the best in the industry. Their battery technology is probably the best too at the moment. But the battery still succumbs to being a battery and wears out. As far as the overall quality? It is lacking. If you sit in one, and feel around, it feels cheaply made. Even if it has all the fancy features. Ergonomics, I HATE their user interface with a passion. It sucks that they are so popular, that other car makers are trying to put everything in a touch screen like them. I hate the touch screen. I want my eyes on ... | |||||

| ... forever when taken care of. The 5 speed manuals last forever. The AT ones usually go out around 150-175k miles. I wouldn’t buy a tesla, wouldn’t drive one given to me. New Jeeps are junk, breakdown and have a ton of electric issues. If you really want a fun vehicle, the Toyota FJ Cruisers are well built. And you can find low mileage ones still. If money isn’t an issue, there are companies doing electric vehicle conversions. | Can you make a video on how to properly change the “thermal fluid” (coolant) on a tesla model Y or 3 (it’s basically the same “car”. tesla service mode has buttons to tap for draining, filling and purging air in the fluid system but I can’t find any videos on how to properly drain and fill it. | BTW, The Camry went Hybrid ONLY - As I expected, so when it comes to new cars - it's HEVs vs BEVs vs T-GDi. As far as the argument of "overpriced" - even the luxury sports sedan standard range tesla Model 3 is the same as a Camry.
