| Answer to: Your Perspective On All New Buicks? | 17Relevance | 4 years ago | Whatchamacallit | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| noticed that the entire Buick line is either made in South Korea or (mostly) China. Only the Buick Enclave is assembled in the US (in Michigan). But that’s splitting hairs since a lot of the parts content is made in China (true for a lot of automakers), and the overall quality is still poor. Buick as a brand only exists because of the Chinese market. | |||||

| Just was reviewing the Buick Web Page, and noticed that the entire Buick line is either made in South Korea or (mostly) China. Although think I know the answer, was wondering if you feel the quality of the Buick product line has suffered in quality since their manufacturing migration to Asia? | |||||

| Is this an electrical issue , computer issue or what? | 17Relevance | 2 years ago | Paradox | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I drive a 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited to and from work about 15 miles a day. My mother originally bought the car new and I inherited it about 14 years ago. It has 125,000 miles on it and gets 23 plus miles per gallon during my suburban to city daily drive during the work week with occasional short errands.Drives better than our 2019 Buick Enclave and 2017 Buick Lacrosse (which my daughter managed to wrangle away) and 2003 GMC Yukon XL Denali. Anyway, from the time my mother bought the car, the "security" light will pop on periodically but has no ill effect o ... | |||||

| Idk if it matters but I got the car from a Buick dealer (across the street from the Ford dealer it's at now) Is there some kind of law or rule of thumb I should know like on how long till I do something if they still don't get it fixed after so long? Example if they have it for x amount of weeks/months if they can't fix it. Do I try to see if they buy it back at its current value Aka like a trade in or is there some way to get my money bac iv paid on it so far? I think original price I paid was 14k? Iv just never had something like this happen before. This ... | |||||

| Answer to: Oldsmobile good or bad? | 17Relevance | 5 years ago | Kerem | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Well Oldsmobile is part of General Motors. "During its time as a division of General Motors, Oldsmobile slotted into the middle of GM's five divisions (above Chevrolet, and Pontiac, but below Buick, and Cadillac), and was noted for its groundbreaking technology and designs." So it was a premium approaching luxury division of GM and Scotty talks about GM a ton... They are ok not the best but better made then than now. If you have one and you don't have problems then good luck with your ownership take care of it! | |||||
| Answer to: 87 Buick Electra Park Avenue o2 sensor | 16Relevance | 8 months ago | Chuck Tobias | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| That kind of thing can frequently be an issue when dealing with a car that is nearly 40 years old. Rockauto lists O2 sensors and spark plug wires for that car, which may or may not be correct. OEM is best but major brands such as Bosch or NTK may work. Rockauto provides photos of the parts which may help in identifying whether thay are correct. | |||||
| RE: 2001 Buick LeSabre vs 2004 Toyota Camry | 16Relevance | 9 months ago | moose456 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| @chucktobias I really love the older Buicks and the lesabre is a favorite! Yes, toyotas are very good but they lack the bench seat I really like! Sad to see none in any newer cars! I do happen to have both a camry and a tundra! But as far as comfort, room and ride goes, the Buick wins every time! If maintained well they can last up to the 300000 mile mark and more! I know people might say I'm crazy but the camry would go before the Buick! | |||||
| Should I buy a 2006-2008 Buick Lucerne | 16Relevance | 1 year ago | Cheezyboy | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Scotty, People say that the Buick that comes with the 3800s such as the lesabre's and Lucerne come with Bulletproof engines. They are highly revered . Some even put them on the same level as Toyota's and Honda's.- especially when you don't want to pay Toyota and Honda prices. Yeah they may say that the engine lasts forever but what about the surrounding parts? Will you always have to pay for little Knicks and knacks to be repaired although the engine is so-called Bulletproof? Because that adds up quickly! My question to you is is the 2006 to 2008 Buick ... | |||||

| 2017 Buick Regal 2.o Turbo Premium II AWD 55k miles Hi Scotty: Love your videos, expertise, and your mission (honesty!) I was recently driving home on the highway (after a Ringo Starr concert) when my Buick (only 55k miles) started hesitating badly. I keep it well maintained with regular synthetic oil and filter changes (Mobil-1 products, 5w/30 synth oil). Because it's a turbo, I only use top-tier 93 octane fuel. My immediate thoughts were bad gas, plugs, fuel syst blockage, or perhaps a tranny slippage. I've already had the trans fluid changed out at ... | |||||

| Where to replace a Dynaflow torque ball for my 1949 Buick? | 16Relevance | 2 years ago | 49Sled | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I own a 1949 Buick Roadmaster Series 70, Model 71. Straight 8 320, 2 speed Dynaflow. I need the torque ball replaced. I have brought it to 4 shops and all would keep it for a month, one 6 weeks only to tell me they were too nervous to work on my car. I bought all the necessary parts from Old Buick Parts out of NJ. I live in Brockton, MA. I am clueless and nervous as to where to bring her. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I have been driving her for years. This car has been in our family for over 30 years. | |||||
