| Anything naturally aspirated will be, with that in mind also keep in mind that lincolns are considered luxury cars, means repairs are more expensive that the Ford counterpart. If you absolutely love the look and feel of it that is. | |||||

| I suppose the V6 is more of a reliable option than the 4 cylinder turbo. | |||||

| Don’t expect any turbo vehicle to last as long as it’s equivalent naturally aspirated counterpart. For a true comfortable & reliable vehicle, you’ll have to look at the Lexus ES. Do your research well before buying any used turbocharged vehicle. No matter what you buy, have the car checked out thoroughly by a reputed mechanic, before you buy it. | |||||

| Anything can be keep long with enough money, the reason that most mechanics do not like landboats with tiny engines is due to higher strain on the smaller engine to drive a bigger vehicle, more wear and tear, means more problems especially if you hear turbo and then vroom vroom, sure it might be quick but that again means more strain. The reason more manufacturers are switching to this system is emission regulations. Other than this I can't tell you much of lincolns. Many other techs can elaborate more. | |||||

| More luxurious would be the lincoln, more reliable the Acura. The lincolns ride is smooth as hell and the seats are super comfortable. I would still choose the Acura though. | |||||

| I agree, if that is the timing chain driven internal water pump I would run away fast. I've been reading and seen many YouTube videos from other mechanics that the job to change that water pump is so intensive that repair costs can run you anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 and around 14 hours of labor depending on what your mechanic charges and their experience with these. I was thinking about buying some surplus Ford Explorer police interceptors and Crown Victoria police interceptors. I called and talked to some service managers at my local state police agency. They said to run away from the Explorers because of that water pump issue and they tend to always send their Explorers to surplus just before failure or when failure is discovered because it's too expensive and time consuming to fix. He said if I had a choice, so always go with the Crown Vic where you can change a water pump for $30 in 30 minutes. I don't know why Ford thought those internal water pumps would be a good idea. | |||||

| If the water pump is run by the timing chain, I would strongly suggest passing. | |||||

| Its basically a Ford Fusion which is an excellent cars but the newer ones you need to be wary about. Not an expert on these cars but I know that the Fusion's are excellent cars with the non ecoboost engines if that has the same engine and transmission do some research and consider it only after bringing it to a trusted mechanic. | |||||
