| My mother in law has that same car, same year. Great car - absolutely bombproof, which is pretty amazing considering she's not exactly an, ahem, expert in auto maintenance. Seriously, no major problems (other than hybrid battery replacement) in 15 years. And all these years later it still looks like a very nice car, really aged well. Fast, too. However, I agree with Scotty. It was never designed to be modified (maybe a little suspension tuning, wheels & tires; that's about it). It is what it is. I am worried that if you try to get cute with it all you will do is ruin a good car. PS: I should have said "bombproof so far". It's a 15 year old car. Even a Lexus will eventually start breaking parts, and the parts won't come cheap. | |||||

| Thinking about buying a hybrid V6 2007 in a great shape has done only (120K Km) and the battery is changed 6 months ago I'm from Jordan 🇯🇴 it's listed for 12K JDS anyways I just wanted to ask if they came with an LSD differential and curious about if I can swap the ECVT transmission that came form toyota with toyota 6 speed that came on the V8 ones do you think that would work? because I'm looking for a first reliable fun car to start with and fuel is really expensive here so I can't just get a V8 it doesn't have to be play and run thing but what do I need to get the job done? Thank you so much for your time 🙂 | |||||

| I’m thinking of buying a 2010 Lexus RX 450 hybrid and don’t know if it’s a smart choice. It is from a private owner, has 120k miles & clean title. Do they last as long as Lexus RX 350? | |||||

| As far as hybrids go, they are pretty good. But as far as how long it will last generally, not as much as the regular RX350. | |||||

| Thank You. What an Infiniti QX60 85000mi@$13000? Good car and good price? Are Kia Soul's good cars (2018)? Thank You 🙂 | |||||
| Answer to: Lexus ct200h or Lexus 450h | 16Relevance | 5 years ago | yaser | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I would avoid those. They are at the mileage where you need to put money into them for the hybrid system. | |||||
| Answer to: 2020 Lexus RX 450H cooling fan filters | 16Relevance | 5 years ago | Figmund Sreud | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I think by filters, they mean simply inlet covering grids! Anyway, that’s the most important service to preserve battery life on hybrids. Problem is that these vents/inlets get obstructed by junk in the car, … like toys, grocery bags, blankets, winter coats, … stuff like that. Battery must be cooled all the time, so these vents must always be free of obstruction. Watch for that, … plus vacuum inlets regularly and battery will outlast your car. F.S. | |||||
| Should I get my oil changed at a dealer? | 15Relevance | 2 years ago | gmanesq | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I have a 2020 lexus rx 450h - i am due for an oil change. the Lexus dealership is running a special and is less expensive than my mechanic for the service. Can we trust a dealership to perform a simple oil change and tire rotation or stick to my mechanic? | |||||

| Stick to a regular gas Lexus, you mention the RX350. They will last longer than a hybrid version, and more mechanics can work on regular gas vehicles over hybrids. Regular gas vehicles have enough complexity as it is; going hybrid adds to that. Usually Toyota Hybrids can go 150,000 to 200,000 miles (generally, even a little more) before battery replacement or something in the hybrid system needs repair and that will cost $$$. Also, finding a competent mechanic that knows how to work on hybrids will be a challenge and being a specialty expect to pay more; going to a dealer would be very expensive as well. I would stick to a regular gas version if you plan to keep the vehicle for a long time and put lots of mileage on it. | |||||

| I see your point, but technically, the RX450h has 295hp and the RX350 has 270hp. The 450h is abo 0.5 sec. faster from 0-60 mph. Thank you. | |||||
| Which Toyota should I get | 15Relevance | 3 years ago | shanemul | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I'm looking at getting either a 2015 Toyota Prius v with 78000 miles for $18K with only 1previous owner, a 2020 base Toyota Corolla with 65k miles for $17K that had 3 previous owners, one of which used it as a rental car or a Lexus 2013 LEXUS RX 450h HYBRID that's fully loaded and has 99K miles for $20K, and 2 previous owners. They all have CVT transmissions. Which one should I go for? The Prius and Lexus come with 3K limited warranty, but the Corolla is sold as is. | |||||
