| ... When hybrid and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles are included with BEVs, the figure jumps up 35.4% for all vehicles sold year-to-date in California. Not surprisingly this means gas-powered sales are falling in the state, with the CNCDA reporting ICE market share (including gasoline and diesel vehicles) was 64.6 percent so far this year, down from 71.6 percent in 2022 and 88.4 percent in 2018.. when digging deeper into the sales data tesla’s (TSLA) Model Y and Model 3 dominate BEV sales in the state, at 103,398 and 66,698 respectively, with tesla’s overall mark ... | |||||
| Tesla Battery Not Holding Charge, Under Warranty, and Refusal to Fix Under Warranty | 43Relevance | 2 years ago | Anthony Zingale | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Greetings Scotty and Community, I am asking on behalf of a friend of mine. She has a 2019 tesla Model 3 Long Range RWD that she bought new and now has 62K miles. The bumper-to-bumper warranty is up, but the battery and electric drive is still good up to 100K miles and 8 years of ownership. The battery is not holding a charge and she has taken it in to TWO tesla service centers and they gave her the same crap. That crap is referring to the fact that even though her battery is under warranty, tesla WILL NOT honor it and she would have to pay $28K for a new b ... | |||||

| Answer to: Why does Tesla Keep Cutting Prices? | 22Relevance | 3 years ago | Justin Shepherd | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| He's trying to appeal to the masses, now. Nobody wants a second hand tesla and the market is becoming more saturated with other EVs. He's lowering the price because he's being forced to, in order to stay "competitive". The Chevrolet Bolt is an EV, Ford's Mach-E is an EV, in pretty sure Kia makes an EV now, too. He's doing it to keep tesla alive. Personally, I can't stand teslas, or really any EV. In my neck of the woods, power plants are fueled by natural gas. All you are doing is moving the emissions from your tailpipe to the power plant's. You're saving mi ... | |||||

| ... will be forth coming as witness Toyota and their Solid State Battery technology coming in 2021. But for the present if your interested in the hand me down 2nd stuff...their are some worth considering and some just a dead end. Probably tesla is the number one EV I would consider but again it is not affordable for most and their serviceing is practically nill. Parts are hard to get as well. For most people - it would be out of their budget. Other considerations like he Leaf have issues with battery capacity loss which has plagued them. Others like the Vol ... | |||||

| ... highly of. Their sales pale in comparison to their competitors..As for rebadged Chinese car under Toyota nameplate, Toyota has other EVs here in the US but no one is buying them. I doubt they will make a dent with a Chinese rebadged one, especially if it ends up having issues.…….“If I had to guess, I'd say it will take another 4-5 years before they storm the US market,“.I doubt it. tesla has the biggest market share here in the States and even they are plateauing. There are cheaper offerings already like GM Bolt, vehicles from Hyundai/Kia, Volvo, but no one ... | |||||
| Tesla will install a normal steering wheel for $700 | 22Relevance | 3 years ago | Brice | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Wanted to let you know that current owners of tesla Model S and X can replace their steering yokes with a regular steering wheel. tesla will install the normal wheel for $700. It should be free since cars usually come with a round steering wheel. So much for the cool look that Elon wanted with the yoke. | |||||

| If you want something that would use less gas go with a Toyota hybrid. It's a lot more reliable, much better quality, better price than tesla, and Toyota knows how to make good cars but also good hybrids. tesla quality isn't good and repairs you have to take to their own service centers so they can charge you as much as they want. It's not worth it at all. | |||||

| Hi Scotty, I heard on the news this morning that just about every tesla is being recalled because they’re unsafe. Who’d a thunk it?and yeah, I’m being sarcastic. Could this be the end of the road for tesla? No wonder Elon was dumping his shares as fast as he could. I think he saw this coming. | |||||

| If he's determined to go electric that would actually be the best thing, wait for a Toyota or Lexus EV. Or, go halfway and buy a hybrid. (I'm not big on those myself but Toyota makes an excellent hybrid system.) tesla may well not survive the onslaught of traditional manufacturers producing electric cars en masse, which could leave tesla owners in the position of owning big, expensive driveway decorations several years down the road. | |||||

| Ew, What? Why does tesla have to do with it? tesla is an anti-repair typical US domestic car... It seems like tesla is too busy with price gouging to publish repair materials and sell parts. I do not see myself buying a car on which 1/4 is profit and which company acts as tesla does. As far as people in the US: In a last ditch attempt to preserve domestic legacy car makers the US has instated import taxes that are pretty much cost-prohibitive. This this obstacle is to be breached sooner than later with foreign companies finishing construction of US ... | |||||

| ... will catch up soon.-Currently an average tesla model 3 does about 175 miles in 15 minutes, (so to go over 500 miles in a roadtrip during it you'll only need 15 minutes of charging) but they're also improving fast, and given how tesla did sell some cars with rather small 54kwh batteries in large sedans I see where the stigma came from.Although If I had to guess the stigma dates even earlier to ±2013 when a Nissan leaf would only charge 30 miles in 15 minutes...-What you have described was the case until 2021, charging speed has evolved drastically.-Look at ... | |||||
