| Hello Scotty, I own a 2013 Dodge challenger SXT has 68,000 miles. Check engine light won't go off. Receive code P0741. Have had transmission dropped and serviced, serviced Torque converter clutch, checked power train module, diagnose and repaired TCC solenoid also check pressure regulator and wire harness everything had serviced after driving car under 20 miles check engine light still comes on. Won't pass emissions test. Please help. This has been going on over a year. | |||||

| I have a 2009 Dodge challenger RT Was replacing the crankshaft position sensor and while taking the started out forgot to disconnect the battery and grounded the hot wire to the frame now the car will crank but will not fire and suggestions on what I should look for or replace. | |||||

| Scotty, Hope all is well. I’ve been conservative with my cars throughout the years , only buying hondas. Received a new job which covers all my gas. Was thinking about buying a Dodge challenger Scatpack. Engine and Tranny seem decent. Any ideas, if well maintained, the car can run till 150k miles without any major issues? Its the 6.4 Liter engine. Thanks! | |||||

| The first thing I would do is search for any recalls that you may be unaware of. Based on your description, I'm guessing it's a computer communication error. When you disconnect the battery and reconnect it you are resetting something in the system, and the car starts again. Your ignition switch may be losing connection with with the key fob for instance. I would go to challenger sites and search for your issue. I would almost guarantee there are many examples of this happening with other challengers. | |||||

| I have a 2012 Dodge challenger 3.6 6 cylinder it will basically have no check engine light or fault codes then all of a sudden it sputters then dies and won’t restart till you unhook the battery for 5 seconds then reconnect then the car runs fine like nothing has ever happened to it. | Hey Scott, I hope everything is going good. I have a 2016 Dodge challenger sxt and lately I’ve been having this problem that after I drive for about 2 hours my engine starts idling. I’ve taking it to multiple mechanics and no one knows what’s going on. At first it runs perfectly but after a while it idles to the point where I can’t drive it anymore for the day. One time I got a check engine light so I took it to autozone and 3 codes came out which was the map sensor, which was replaced, a p0171 and p0174 codes but still not running properly after a while. | I have a 2010 Dodge challenger RT 5 speed Automatic transmission (11,500 miles) and the TPMS light will not go out. Is there a way to test the battery level of the TPMS sensor at home or will the Stealership charge me to check the battery level. I followed the manual and inflated the tires to the proper level and drove over 15 mph for at least 20 minutes, light has NOT gone out. Is there any device that can check the battery level that's cheap Do you have any suggestion. I do have an Ancel AD410 ODB2 scanner. | |||||

| I recently had my Transmission Fluid changed(Aug/Sept 2021) at a garage on my 2010 Doge challenger RT ( 10,900 miles: 5.7L HEMI 5-speed Automatic Transmission). Now sometime when I start my car and put it in Reverse or Drive the engine Revs up(RPM) and I start to accelerate it DOES NOT want to response equally. | The towing rate for that challenger is 1000 lbs, so as long as you do not exceed that, you should be fine. | |||||
