Transmission not responding after flushing ATF in my 2010 Dodge Challenger

I recently had my Transmission Fluid changed(Aug/Sept 2021) at a garage on my 2010 Doge Challenger RT ( 10,900 miles: 5.7L HEMI 5-speed Automatic Transmission).  Now sometime when I start my car and put it in Reverse or Drive the engine Revs up(RPM) and I start to accelerate it DOES NOT want to response equally.  I started my car this afternoon to put it in the garage and hit 2000 RPM and it barely moved.  I sometime put it in park and shut off the engine and the restart it and it works..mostly. I have a Ancel AD410 Scan Tool, but I do not know if it is sophisticated to give me any valuable info about the Automatic Transmission.

Do you have any advise for me to take.                                        Hubkap

Is the mileage figure correct?

Do you still have the old fluid?

Was this the first time the ATF was ever changed?

See here - https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/atf/

Unfortunately I DO NOT have the old Transmission Fluid, and YES, it was the first time I had the Transmission Fluid changed. I might take it back to the shop. I had the fluid serviced on June 30, 2021.

With just ~11,000 miles, it’s way too soon for any regular transmission issues. Their flush service seems to have messed something up. Take it back & demand they fix it to your satisfaction.

if they pumped it full of chemicals, then maybe they're still in there and they didn't get it all out. More draining and refilling with ATF could bring your transmission back, and the shop that screwed it up should be paying for it.

Did they use the correct fluid???

Is the level good? Your car has a Merceds 5G-Tronic transmission that, to the best of my knowledge, uses Mercedes Benz "236.14" type oil (DOUBLE CHECK, I MIGHT BE WRONG) - what did they put inside?

Here is a list of ALL oils that are compatible:

https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevoonlinebak/236.14_en.html

(some oils like MOTUL ATF IV aren't listed, but that's not the kind of oil you'd put in a Mercedes transmission...)

Check the receipt what oil they put inside, if it's "ATF+4" or "LifeGuard 8" or anything that isn't 236.14 compatible - that garage owes you either full disassembly of the transmission, or a new one in comparable condition to what your one was before they screwed it up.

Do NOT put additives, just make sure you get the correct fluid inside - at 10k miles it physically super unlikely to have enough wear to slip - your issue is (99% probability) fluid related.

You might try drain a quarter of the ATF and replace it with Lucas anti slip transmission fluid.

If you bought the car used chances are it has more miles than showing because with such low miles a transmission should not go wrong, also the mileage seems ridiculously low for a 2010.  Maybe check the Carfax?

Did they change it, or flush it? It should never be flushed. Is the mileage you stated correct? Once the car does move does it slip changing gears? It sounds like the transmission is going out. I would take it to a quality shop and see if they can diagnose for you.

Yes the mileage is CORRECT ( 10,900 miles. The invoice of the service on my car list BG SYN Transmission Fluid and Flush Kit. The Labor Description explains shows BG Transmission Flush. I responded to another of comments that I probably will go back to the shop and explain the issue I have. Hopefully that will give me an answer. The car goes into gear(Reverse and Drive) the RPM increase but the car does not go or responds as quick as it should. As stated, if I shut off the car and then restart it, it operates smoothly, most of the times..
