| Idk if it matters but I got the car from a Buick dealer (across the street from the Ford dealer it's at now) Is there some kind of law or rule of thumb I should know like on how long till I do something if they still don't get it fixed after so long? Example if they have it for x amount of weeks/months if they can't fix it. Do I try to see if they buy it back at its current value Aka like a trade in or is there some way to get my money bac iv paid on it so far? I think original price I paid was 14k? Iv just never had something like this happen before. This ... | |||||

| The Buick Lucerne CXL with the Northstar V8 is basically a Cadillac DTS (Deville Touring Sedan). It wasn't a terrible car that Buick made but I would do some research first. | |||||
| Bought A 2006 Buick Lucerne, Trunk Won't Open | 17Relevance | 5 years ago | TimJordan | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| So I bought a 2006 Buick Lucerne (Northstar engine, automatic) from a dealership recently with 85000 miles and after I got it home I found the key fob and the trunk release in the glove box don't work. Called out a locksmith and they got it open, but they said to fix the problem I'd have to take it to a Buick dealer. Do you recommend I take it to a dealer or would a regular mechanic be able to fix the problem? Thanks, Tim Jordan | |||||
| Answer to: Quality of Buick | 17Relevance | 5 years ago | Justin Shepherd | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| The Buick Encore is literally made in China and imported to the states. When I heard that several years ago I knew to never mess with one of those. Modern GM's problems and Chinese quality are no road I ever want to go down. As Kesterpaul 62 said, I'd find an early 2000s Buick with the 3800 V6. Those are halfway decent cars with tried and true engines. That 3.8L was originally designed for a carburetor in the 60s and updated for fuel injection. A version of it was actually the base engine in my 1979 Pontiac Catalina, and the only one legal in California ... | |||||

| I researched and fell in love with the Buick Avenir (Luxury model of Enclave) 58,715 based on my built model from Buick's website, and this is probably what I will need to do to get what I want. I cannot find what I want used anywhere especially in Florida AWD is unheard of practically. However, I am hesitant now based on your videos about Toyota and Honda but I really need a comfortable roomy SUV thats great on safety as well. I am familiar with the 2019-2021 years of this suv. I would like your opinion on this model in particular, and what you believe come ... | |||||
| Answer to: Oldsmobile good or bad? | 18Relevance | 5 years ago | Kerem | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Well Oldsmobile is part of General Motors. "During its time as a division of General Motors, Oldsmobile slotted into the middle of GM's five divisions (above Chevrolet, and Pontiac, but below Buick, and Cadillac), and was noted for its groundbreaking technology and designs." So it was a premium approaching luxury division of GM and Scotty talks about GM a ton... They are ok not the best but better made then than now. If you have one and you don't have problems then good luck with your ownership take care of it! | |||||
| CAR shutters, shakes and losses power | 18Relevance | 5 years ago | Gmolds66 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I own a 2014 Buick Encore with a 1.4L turbo engine and automatic transmission. It has 53000 miles on it and randomly it will loss power, shakes and stutters when traveling at highway speeds. The local Buick dealer did a diagnostic test and said the turbo was bad. We had them install a new turbo and the same problem occurred after the new turbo was installed. We returned the vehicle to the dealer and they installed a second turbo stating that the first turbo was bad. On the way home from the dealer today the same problem happened . As I follow the vehicle ... | |||||

| 2017 Buick Regal 2.o Turbo Premium II AWD 55k miles Hi Scotty: Love your videos, expertise, and your mission (honesty!) I was recently driving home on the highway (after a Ringo Starr concert) when my Buick (only 55k miles) started hesitating badly. I keep it well maintained with regular synthetic oil and filter changes (Mobil-1 products, 5w/30 synth oil). Because it's a turbo, I only use top-tier 93 octane fuel. My immediate thoughts were bad gas, plugs, fuel syst blockage, or perhaps a tranny slippage. I've already had the trans fluid changed out at ... | |||||

| Charm.li is used by many members to access diagrams, service manuals and more. Grab a 12V tester or multimeter and check out this link for first steps at troubleshooting. The chime and interior lights are often 'timed circuits' and have more than a simple single fuse. | |||||
| Answer to: Buick Lacrosse | 17Relevance | 5 years ago | Elon Dusk | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Buick have been making metal trash since the 2000s. Don't waste your money on them. Also, Buick is a GM division. GM is the king of metal trashes. | |||||
| Answer to: buick unreliability | 17Relevance | 5 years ago | Elon Dusk | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I don't even know why people buy Buick vehicles. Their sedans are too damn small and ugly to be luxurious. The Toyota Highlander looks more luxurious than all of their SUVs combined. They are overpriced as well. Reliability is crappy. And I'm surprised Buick is still alive. I rarely see a new one on the road any where nowadays. | |||||

| Hi, 2008 Buick Enclave CXL with 119,000 miles and with regular 3000-5000 miles oil changes is making a rattling noise 1-2 seconds on some cold starts in the mornings. The sound is coming from the passenger side, close to the timing chains cover. No OBDII codes and no engine light. What could be causing this noise. The link for the video is below. Thank you, Ben | |||||

| I found on my Buick Verano a small part that looks like it suppose to connect but found it disconnected and hanging off. Not sure what the part is called but here are pictures. Tried reattaching but weakly fits and can fall off by a gust of wind so I zip tied it lol until I can head to a mechanic. Will this be a big problem to drive until then? No problems driving until I saw it today and was driven today. 2017 Buick Verano Automatic 53k+ miles No scans or error codes/lights on the dash | |||||
