| If it is sentimental, it is sentimental. If it’s 2 grand and is projected to last sometime, why not? But if it is 2 grand and would go into a money pit, probably try to not be so sentimental. I recommend looking into the following cars of the same platform to see what there potential problems and lifespans were/are, to see if they might come up for your car: Related Buick LeSabreBuick Park AvenuePontiac BonnevilleCadillac SevilleCadillac DeVille | |||||

| Answer to: Are chrysler better than buick | 22Relevance | 5 years ago | USAFdozerpilot | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Buick is actually decent in reliability out of the GM line up. Chrysler is owned by the Italian and French. That’s not a good combination. If it were me I’d pass on both. If I had to choose I’d buy the Buick. As long as the Buick got a clean bill of health. | |||||
| Answer to: 2019-2020 Buick Tour X Wagon opinions | 22Relevance | 5 years ago | Chuck Tobias | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| That's not really a Buick, it's an Opel with Buick badges. Trouble is that GM sold off Opel to PSA group (Peugeot and Citroen) making that "Buick" wagon something of an orphan in this country. It's anyone's guess what the prospects for parts and service are going to be on that vehicle moving forward. | |||||

| Answer to: Should I buy this car? | 22Relevance | 5 years ago | geriscan | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| From what I found online, this Alpheon el300 is a Korean Daewoo (Daewoo is now formally known as GM Korea). Daewoo was less successful and popular than Kia or Hyundai. Now, from my brief search, it seems that this Korean Chevy is actually a localized version of a Buick LaCrosse. So, if that is true, check into reviews for that year's Buick LaCrosse. That's one thing. Another goes to parts availability, in future. That's also something to check into, given that there are likely to be some differences between this Korean Daewoo/Chevy/Buick and an Ameri ... | |||||

| The 3.8 engine is pretty good but the rest of it is basic junk if you want to check it out look here: If you like Buick better, I think you should because of the lower amount of complaints: I doubt the Park Avenue sold 180 times less than the Impala I think the Buick is better personally. Also, I think you are jumping about 80s retro cars and 2000s Camrys and old Corollas and 2000s GM cars what do you really want? If you are fine with just an A to B car with an engine and you don't care about anything else maybe the Chevy might be OK but reall ... | |||||

They put them in taxis for free. they wanted them To keep records of everything on the engines that they did to the engines. When they changed oil or spark plugs so on. GM would Have the engines taken out and shipped back to Flint? | I have been driving a 2000 Buick Lesabre that my mother bought new transferred to me around 2008 and then was given to my daughter in 2014 for High School and then College. It was rear ended by a hit and run driver and declared totaled around 2017 because insurance said the cost of repair was more than the value of the car. I took the insurance payout less salvage fee and had the car repaired for $1000 less than they gave me.I have personally been driving the car since 2017 to and from work. The car looks great and drives better than any car we have (2002 Yuk ... | |||||
| CEL PO420 @ low rpms, stays off @rpms | 18Relevance | 2 years ago | victheart | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I have a 2015 Buick Encore with 109,000 miles. CEL with PO420 comes on in city traffic at low rpms. If I erase the code with my scanner, I can drive for hours on the highway at high speeds without the CEL coming back on. Eventually, when I return to city traffic it soon comes back on. What would make that happen? Could there be a leak somewhere? The code first appeared immediately after having work done to replace the turbocharger, PVC valve/intake manifold. They told me at the shop that the catalytic converter needs to be replaced. | |||||
