| ... space. My poor Prius has been used and abused as a work truck and camping rig for too long. The verdicts I've come across are the following: Toyota Highlander Hybrid Lexus 400h Lexus 450h Now, I know your stance on hybrids but my and my family's experience has been exceptional with this technology. My Toyota Prius has been by far the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned - there's 4 of them currently in my immediate family and none of them have had any problems (mileage ranging from 150k to 234k). However let me get to my question, which is w ... | |||||

| Hi, I am looking to purchase a good used car. I am a very low mileage driver. Any opinions on the Lexus CT200h or a Lexus 450h? I am looking at few ct200's with little less than a 100,000 miles(2011-2014) and one 450h (2011) that I've been eyeing for a month now with 122,000 miles. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. or just stay with a gas all the way? Thank You | |||||

| ... (GS350) so I'm also considering the 450h which is supposed to be a replacement for the V8 since I can't actually afford a GS F (V8). I know the battery can cost a small fortune to replace but here in the UK Lexus offers a warranty for the battery - with each Hybrid Health Check at the dealership, you receive an extra 1 year or 10,000 mile (whichever comes sooner) hybrid battery warranty extension, until your vehicle is 15 years old. My question is, is the 450h worth it? For example, I was looking at a 2013 GS 450h with about 80,000 miles on it. Or should ... | |||||

| Well, I'd go for the low millage gas one, 100k is high for a vehicle you're planing to keep that long. This is assuming they're both in the same condition and a mechanic checks out the RX350 and gives you the green light. | |||||

| Rev up your Engines!!!! I have a 2007 Lexus GS 450h and the dash is lit up like a christmas tree. Have the following dash lights on: Red Triangle of Death flashing (and loud beeping when start car), check engine light, ABS light and handbrake light are all consistently on. My daughter was driving the car about 3 mos ago and that's when the Red Triangle started flashing and there was some beeping noise and she said the brakes stopped working. So she pulled over and was by a Firestone. I told her just to let Firestone look at it and the mechanic there ... | |||||

| Have you already checked the hybrid battery’s health at your nearest Toyota dealer? If not, do that & price out a brand new OEM hybrid battery. That may also be probably why the car is on sale.. It’s best to buy hybrids, brand new. Buying a used hybrid vehicle (especially a 10yr old one), is a massive gamble. Also - | |||||

| My wife has a 2020 RX 350 purchased last September; I have a 2021 RX 450h purchased in January. My wife didn't want a hybrid; I did. With the longer warranty on the hybrid components and the 10 year, 150K miles warranty on the battery, I'm not concerned. In 10 years, I'll be close to 80 yo, so I expect we will probably drop down to one-daily driver by then. We both like our RXs. Hers is used mainly for highway trips; mine for in-town driving as well as highway. I am getting excellent fuel mileage - in the low 30s in town, and up to 34-35 on the highway. I d ... | |||||
