  I'd pass. The 3.5 EcoBoost engines do not hold up over time.   Between these two types whats the diff? Out from the bottle, the Castrol Edge oil is thicker than the Fuel saver but both are 5W-30. Which one will be of better use for a corolla 2013? Both seems to meet the specs on the owners manual. I am feeling the Castrol Edge is causing higher fuel consumption. CASTROL MAGNATEC FUEL SAVER DX 5W-30 CASTROL Edge 5W-30 A3/B4

  This has been asked, many, many, many, times. So please read through the previous responses: In short, the 4 cylinder EcoBoosts are bad engines, but the V6 engines are downright horrible. Not exaggerating. The stupid water pump is driven by a timing chain?? You would be taking the whole engine out so labor also gets expensive. When it goes out, thats a multi thousand dollar job, at 8 10 years of age people have to junk their cars because of the water pump.

  So I rented a Ford Edge the past week. It was the only SUV/CUV available in a tight rental market. The Edge was a very fun SUV/CUV to drive. I think it hits the perfect size of not being too big or too small. The Intelligent AWD was fascinating to watch at work, as the car had a visual of which wheels had power. And it picked up speed well. Made me miss my BMW X5. My two criticism are an acceleration lag from pedal to response, probably because of the turbo.   Yo, what’s up Scottie! I bought a 2016 Ford Edge SEL AWD back a couple years ago with 34,000 miles on it. Went with the V6 naturally aspirated motor compared to the V4 turbo charged motor. Sure the V6 according to Ford gets less gas mileage than the V4, but I’ve noticed when I’ve drove it on long trips, it gets anywhere from 26-28 mpg on the highway (win-win for me).
